Welcome to Our Dance Family!
At Embody Ballet and Fitness, we believe in fostering a warm, welcoming space where young dancers can learn, grow, and feel supported. Our studio is more than just a place to danceβitβs a community! To keep our space uplifting and respectful for all, we ask our youth students and their parents to follow these simple guidelines.
YOUTH BALLET CLASSES CODE OF CONDUCT
Studio Flow & Courtesy
Respect Studio Time
Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before class so the previous class can finish smoothly.
After class, dancers should gather their belongings promptly and head to the waiting room so instructors can prepare for the next class. Parents are welcome to socialize with each other in the waiting area while waiting for their dancer.
Dancer Manners & Behavior
Dancers should listen attentively to their instructors and follow directions with respect.
Kindness and encouragement go a long wayβnegative or judgmental remarks about fellow dancers are not allowed.
Running, roughhousing, or excessive talking during class is disruptive and should be avoided.
Parent Participation
Parents should refrain from taking photos or videos during class unless specifically given permission by the instructor. We offer mini-performances and certain classes to make sure you can get pictures of your young dancer!
Creating a Safe & Supportive Space
Kindness Always Wins
Every dancer, no matter their age, experience, or background, is valued. Encouragement and support are key to building confidence and growth.
We ask parents to model positive support and respect for all dancers and instructors.
Zero Tolerance for Uncomfortable Behavior
We do not allow bullying, harassment, or behavior that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome.
If any issues arise, parents and students will receive a friendly reminder. Repeated or serious issues may result in removal from the studio.
Studio Etiquette & Expectations
Be Punctual & Prepared
Arrive on time and ready to dance. If you are running more than ten minutes behind, please skip class and come the following week to not disrupt class in session.
Dancers should wear appropriate ballet attire and have necessary equipment (e.g., ballet shoes, hair neatly tied back).
Respect the Space
Help keep our studio clean and organized by disposing of trash and ensuring all personal belongings are taken home.
Parents and dancers should refrain from lingering in the studio after class unless attending an official studio event or with instructor permission.
By Enrolling Classes, You Agree To:
Help us maintain a positive, inclusive space for all dancers.
Follow these guidelines to ensure a respectful and uplifting studio environment.
Understand that failure to adhere to studio expectations may result in suspension or removal.
Thank you for helping us create a space where young dancers can thrive!
Letβs keep moving with grace, respect, and community!
